Webster’s Dictionary defines idol as an object of extreme devotion, or a representation or a symbol of an object of worship, a false god. An idol is anything in your life that you put in a position that you rely on more than God. God has been taking me on a journey of revealing idols in my life. “How are you so peaceful?” a new acquaintance asked me one day. “When I look at you, all I see is peace.” I took that as the greatest complement I could be given.
